60 Secs with God

During 60 seconds, leave whatsoever your doing and seize this opportunity! Let's see if satan can stop this

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to death penalty.

That was then the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals could die like Jesus. And with Jesus things were worst, because not all the criminals condemned to death could receive nails on their hands and feet.

Of course, nails... Big nails! Each was 15 a 20 cm long, with a point of 6 cm. Another point was sharp.

The nails were craved into the pulses, and not into the palms, as we are used to hear. In the pulse, there's a tendon which extends till the shoulder, and when the nails were being hammered, that tendon broke, obliging Jesus to reinforce all the muscles of his back, so that he could breath as He was loosing all the air from his lungs.

In this way, He was forced to support Himself onto the nail craved in his feet, which was bigger than those craved into his pulses, for both feet were craved together. And, as his feet could not endure for long time without tearing, Jesus was forced to alternate that "cycle" so that He could breath.

Jesus endured that reality over 3 hours.

Yes, over 3 hours! Long time, isn't it? Few minutes before He died, Jesus was not bleeding anymore.

He was simply pouring water from his cuts and holes.

When we imagine Him injured, we only picture Him with injuries,
but it is not enough; His wounds were true holes, made in his body.

He had no more blood to bleed, He only poured water.

Human body is composed by near 3.5 litres of blood (for adult).

Jesus poured all 3.5 litres of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his had and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who nailed a spear into his chest.

All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometres, while the crowd spat on his face and throwed stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).

Jesus had to pass all this experience, so that you can have free access to God.

So that your sins could be "washed". All of them,
with no exception! Don't ignore this situation. HE DIED FOR YOU!. For you, who now read this e-mail. Do not believe that He only died for others

(those who go to the church or for pastors, bishops, etc).

He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried on what they may think about your moral.

Accept the reality, the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD.

God has plans for you, show all your friends what He experienced to save you.
Now think on this! May God bless your life!

60 seconds with God...

During 60 seconds,
leave whatsoever your doing and seize this opportunity! Let's see if satan can stop this.

All you have to do is:

Simply pray for the person who sent this message to you: Lord, you better know the life of _________.

I ask You to bless him/her in all
realms and make him/her prospering.

Take care of his/her family, his/her
health, his/her work and all his/her plans for this year.
Lead him/her not into temptation, but deliver him/her from evil. In Jesus' name - Amen.

Then, send this link to many people, whom you want them to pray for you.

Once, that people will pray for you and you will make that many people pray to God for other people.

Think a moment and appreciate the power of God in your life, for doing what pleases Him.

If you are not ashamed in doing this, please, follow Jesus' instructions. He said (Matthew 10:33): "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will

I also deny before my Father who is in heaven".

If you are not ashamed, send this message... Only if you believe in Him.

Yes, I love God. He is my source of life and my saviour. He keeps me alive day and night.

Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him "I can do all
things through Christ which strengtheneth me". Philippians 4:13.

This is the simply proof. If you love God and your are not ashamed for all things He has done for you, send this to all those you love.

My Dear Brothers / Sisters,
You are always remembered in my prayers.
Also keep me and my family in your prayers

The Fourteenth Station : Jesus is Laid in the Tomb

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

His body now laid in a tomb. Jesus looked defeated. What had been gained? Even His closest friends had has their doubts.
But since His life was the gift He gave, the reverse of all appearances turned out to be true.
Christ continues His work thorugh others, till the Good News, reaches the very ends of the earthe. He rose from His own death. We are witnesses of this. And all heaven now awaits the glorious revealing of the sons of God!

The Thirteenth Station : Jesus is Taken Down from the Cross

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

Consider how Jesus' body, after merciless treatment and final piercing was removed from the instrument of His death. Only the holy relic that once held the person of the Son of God remained.

St. Paul was to tell us that our bodies, like His, are holy, - temples of the Holy Spirit - and that we mush not use them for any kind of banal purpose.

Let us then resolve to renounce all selfishness, which makes us unhealthy, hurts our relationships with others and keeps us from knowing the God for whom we are made, Then we will be called peacemakers and the Sons of God(Mt.5:9)

Pure in heart, the Lord Jesus persevered in showing all the goodness of God till His death. Then His side was pierced, and out flowed blood and water.

The Twelfth Station : Jesus Dies on the Cross

In life, charity leads to continuing coversion. The purity of a person is interior. Grance and mercy flow from there. And God becomes known.

Blood flowed profusely as Jesus was fastened to the wood that He had carried. Nails were driven completely through Him. It was even more acute because of His highly sensitive nature. The perfection of God's mercy to us here cannot be articulated or imagined.
Brothers and sisters in Christ. Mercy is something that we are called to. We have received it from the Lord but it is perfected in us by our own willingness to "pour ourselves out for others." Remember Mary Magdalene as she washed the feet of Jesus with her tears. The Lord said: "I tell you, her sins, many as they are will be forgiven her because she has loved much."

Now the Lord's clothes are wrenched off of him. All that remains is the flesh which He look on in order to be one of us.

All earthly things have been deprived Him, even clothes, food or emotional support.

Jesus told us that worldly are fools: "...to whom will all these things go? (Lk 12:16-21)". "Comfort belongs to those who take nothing with them in spirit. (1 Cor 7:31-32)"

The Ninth Station : Jesus Falls the Third Time

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

Jesus, nearing the place of His execution fell yet again. Now He was at His weakest and at the threshold of Calvary. Beneath the dirt and sweat and blood that covered Him was the most incredible meekness, a meekness that could not fine fault with His Father's plan. He arose agian to gain the promise of the covenant.
We are members of Chirst's Body - the Church. Like Abraham who was promised the land, Jesus promises us: "And whoever perseveres to the end shall be saved."

The Eight Station : Jesus Consoles the Women of Jerusalem

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

Seeing some women on the way who were in great sorrow because of Him, the Lord said, "Do not weep for me...... but for your childern."

Though Jesus' work was just ending, these women's was beginning. Great diligence is required for those who wish to share in God's saving work. The mind must keep to the task. But these poor in spirit will be blessed if they persevere. And the reward for them and those for whom they pray is no less than the kingdom of God!

The Seventh Station : Jesus Falls the Second Time

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

Falling again, Jesus heard the jeering and felt the prodding of the men trying to move Him along. When he rose to go on again, it was not because these people compelled Him. Instead He was spurred on His own desire to redeem them, to bring them back into His friendship.

Salvific love is the gift and privilege we enjoy as Christians. The sincere love of enemies is what Christ's mission is about.

The Sixth Station : Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

When Veronica wiped Jesus' face His image was left upon the cloth. That image was of the eternal God.

Single minded devotion to God lead us into the way of all truth. Then shall we see God.

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.

The soldiers enlisted the help of a man coming along to carry the heavy wood. Mercifully there was someone to help! We do not know the heart of Simon. We only know the heart of God who provided him.

Fellow lovers of God, let us put on the clothers of mercy, generosity, compasssion and service to others. The Lord is present there.

The Fourth Station: Jesus Meets His Mother

The Fourth Station: Jesus Meets His Mother

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

Jesus was not the only one who suffered the cross that day. Mary, His mother was there and shared it in another way.

The most intense trail of her life must have weakened her. But Now, seeing His face, she sees more than only His pain. She detects HIs resolve, His utter fearlessness. She is strengtherned by it.

Courage is required to persevere in faithfulness to God. It is not will power of our own. Amid trials and temptations to "take it easy" we need to cling to Him and the gift is He.

The Third Station : Jesus Falls the First Time

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world

The road is hard and carrying a cross is not an easy thing. The Lord falls as He goes along. As difficult as it is He gets up and resolutely begins again.

Detachment is necessary to free us from all worldliness and anxiety. Self-denial frees us to follow God. The Lord Himself has given us an example.

Sister and Brothers, we should put aside everything that does not help us to follow the call of God.

The Second Station : Jesus Bears His Cross

The Second Station : Jesus Bears His Cross

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

Recognizing the way set before Him, the way of the cross, there is no demand by the Anointed One for His rights. Instead, He picks up the cross and begins His journey.

Hidden but recognized by Jesus in all of this is God's will. He is dedicated to it. Jesus knows that human life is limited in many ways, and He accepts it from His Father with love.

Our lives are really very simple, but its meaning deep. Through the grace of God we can fulfill our everyday work and through this glorify our Creator.

Opening Prayer

Almighty, ever living God, you have given the human race Jesus Christ our saviour as a model of humility, He fulfilled your will by becoming man and giving his life on the cross. Help us to bear witness to you by following his example of suffering and make us worthy to share in his resurrection. We ask this through our lord Jesus Chris, your sone, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.

Behold the Lord. Arrested because of envy and falsely condemned because of fear, Jesus is accused of stirring up a revolt. Ironically, this description fits Barabbas, who is released instead of Christ. Humbly the Son of God accepts what his father has permitted, in order that all that had been foretold of Him would come to pass.

Friends, let us reject envy, avarice and the desire for any other gain that is not meant for us. God knows our needs and those of our neighbor.

Bible Verse for the Day

Do not put the Lord your God to the test.

---Luke 4:12 (New International Version)

Dearest Abba, Father, You are Mighty and Powerful. There is no true god beside you. You put to death and You give life. You wound and You heal. All that You purpose comes to pass. You are beyond any test. Your word is proven and You protect and provide for those who put their trust in You. In my limited wisdom and understanding, I often do not understand the meaning of all that is happening in my life and I end up challenging You to prove Yourself to me. I, being so insignificant and mortal, have no right to provoke a response of validation from You. Forgive, O LORD, for my foolishness. Instead of trying to get You to prove Yourself to me, help, Yah, to prove my love and commitment to You by trying to pass the daily tests of character You are giving to me.

How miserably I have failed the tests so far! Give me the outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to endure and wait on You patiently. Help me pass the tests so that I can be raised to the higher levels that You have ordained for me. I offer my imperfect gratitude to You for all that You have done in my life. Prepare my heart to worship You with my all strength as if I have no other interest in my life other than pleasing You. Give me a new heart and put a new spirit within me so that I will be extremely passionate about You. Have mercy on me and turn Your face toward me. Help me follow Jesus with all my mind and my soul so that You may enable me to attract the hearts of men, women and children with the good news of Your kingdom and land them in Your Kingdom to be recipients of Your everlasting love which is sweeter and more true than anything this world can ever offer. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible Reading

They will come with weeping;
they will pray as I bring them back.
I will lead them beside streams of water
on a level path where they will not stumble

------Jeremiah 31:9 (New International Version)

Dearest Abba, Father, hear my voice, Let Your ears be attentive to my cry for Your mercy. God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit- May there be oneness among three of You and me as You three have been one from eternity that the world may know that I am beloved of the Father. Father God, before I even ask, You know better than I do what I need. Your will alone is good and perfect.Do for me what You see best.

I am tired of stumbling and falling time and again. Raise me upto to a level wherel find complete rest in Your providence and care. O dear Father, speak, for I am listening. And hear me when I pray. Make my path straight for Your name's sake. Make my life mature in the complete dependence on You for my spiritual, physical and material needs. In the name of Jesus Christ who is the source of river of living water by whose side I will prosper and I will be blessed in my going out and coming in, I pray. Amen.

Bible Reading for the Day

Do not say, 'A conspiracy,'
Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy,
Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.
The LORD of hosts, Him you shall hallow;
Let Him be your fear,
And let Him be your dread.
He will be as a sanctuary
----Isaiah 8:12-14 (New King James Version)

Dearest Abba, Father, the situations of this day are very bad and horrible. Everyone is scared of his future which has become so uncertain. Experts of this world say that it's going to get worse. My heart is narrow. My vision is shortsighted. I am prone to be swayed by the opinion of these so called experts who know nothing about Your promises to me, Your beloved child. Help me not to fear those things which make these people fear, who are not part of Your family. Let me not put You to shame by worrying about my future.

O Father, forgive me for all the times I distrust You. Yahweh, take me to Yourself and imprison me so that I can be free of the cares of this world. Ravish me so much so that I be enthralled and live in the fullness of Your Spirit that You have promised me. Expand me, open me and fill me to the measure of Yourself. I need You. I need you every moment of my life. Gracious God, I hope in You, because nothing can ever compare to You. Help me see what You see about my future. I am seeking Your favor. I believe that You are listening to me now for you see that how severely my heart is troubled. Help make me a fearless winner in You. In Jesus' name
Amen.

Bible Verse For The Day

The people of Israel will become like the sand of the sea, more than can be counted or measured. Now God says to them, "You are not my people," but the day is coming when He will say to them, "You are the children of the living God!"

-------Hosea 1:10 (Today's English Version)

Dearest Abba, Father, the Holy One of Israel, Thank you that You are a Pursuer. Without taking into account my past disobedience and sins, You are always ready to forgive me and take me back when I confess and repent. O Father, I acknowledge You and admit that I have behaved irrationally by continuing in rebellion. Instead of responding to Your ultimate care and provision for me, I have failed to give You the loving and complete obedience that is Your due, Had Your grace and mercy not intervened, I would have destroyed utterly.

Help me put away all that is displeasing to You and seek You with all my heart and strength. I am utterly shameful that when You have chosen me, instead of responding to Your love I turned my back on You and concentrated on the matters of this world that are ever perishing and that which can't give me peace or happiness. I strove for people's acceptance of me whose opinion of me changes ever so fast depending on their feelings and perception of me based on their limited knowledge without devoting enough time to understand me.

Oh how foolish I have been! My true worth comes from the fact that I am Your child on account of the precious blood Jesus Christ shed for me on the Calvary for me. Help me to stop depending on other humans. I just want to trust only in You because You alone are worthy and dependable. My well-beloved Abba, come forth soon to save me from my enemies and the mediocrity and desolation I am going through. Give me increase and rest in the measure of Your grace and mercy and power and majesty. I count on You for my deliverance. I invoke the power of Jesus' blood on all aspects of my life. Change me. Change me inside out.
Amen.
