Bible Wordings : 1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden thing of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God.

Baruch 5:1-4

Take off the garment of your sorrow
and affliction, O jerusalem,
and put on for ever the beauty of
the glory from God.
Put on the robe of the righteousness
that comes from God;
put on your head the diadem of
the glory of the Everlasting;
for God will show your splendour
everywhere under heaven.
For God will give you evermore the
name,
'Righteous Peace, Godly Glory'.
(Baruch 5:1-4)

Warnings against Evil Companions

Hear, my child, your father's
instruction,
and do not reject your mother's
teaching;
for they are a fair garland for your
head,
and pendants for your neck.
My child, if sinners entice you,
do not consent.
If they say, 'Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood;
let us wantonly ambush the
innocent;
like Sheol let us swallow them alive
and whole, like those who go
down to the Pit.
We shall find all kinds of costly
things;
we shall fill our houses with booty.
Throw in your lot among us;
we will all have one purse-
my child, do not walk in their way,
keep your foot from their paths;
for their feet run to evil,
and they hurry to shed blood.
For in vain is the net baited
while the bird is looking on;
yet they lie in wait- to kill
themselves!
and set an ambush - for their own
lives!
Such is the end of all who are greedy
for gain;
it takes away the life of its
posssessors. (Proverbs 1:8-19)

Matthew 12 : 46-50

While he was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and his brothers were standing outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, 'Look, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.' But to the one who had told him this, Jesus replied, 'Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?' And pointing to his disciples, he said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.'(Matthew 12 : 46-50)

Word of the God

Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world; for all that is in the world - the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches - comes not from the Father but from the world.

And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live for ever.
(1John 2:15-17)

Words of the God

At that very time there were some present who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. He asked them, 'Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were worse sinners than all other Galileans? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as they did. Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower of Siloam fell on them - do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others living in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish just as they did.'

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree

Then he told this parable: 'A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and found none. So he said to the fardener, "See here! For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and still I find none. Cut it down! Why should it be wasting the soil?" He replied, "Sir, let it alone for one more year, until I dig round it and put manure on it. If it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down."' (Luke 13:1-9)

Word of the God

I lift up my eyes to the hills - from
where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
(Ps. 121:1-2)

Words of the God...!

'Before I formed you in the womb

I knew you,

and before you were born

I consecrated you;

I appointed you a prophet to the

nations.'

(Jeremiah 1:5)

Word of the God

But now thus says the LORD,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I
will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall
not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall
not be burned,
and the flame shall not
consume you.
For I am the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your
Saviour.
I give Egypt as your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in exchange for you.
Because you are precious in my sight,
and honoured, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life.
Do not fear, for I am with you;
I will bring your offspring from the
east,
and from the west I will gather you

(Isaiah 43:1-5)

Bible Verse for the Day

"Your life would be brighter than noonday; Darkness would be like the morning."

-----Job 11:17 (New American Standard Bible)

Dearest Abba, Father, we cry out to You today and ask You to give us relief from the diificult things we are facing. Bring them to a good conclusion as only You can do.We know You understand all that we are going through and You see what we are up against.You even know our thoughts about our circumstances right now.Help us to tough out these rough waters so that we can not only survive, but come through victoriously. Through Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bible Verse for the Day

Thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

-----Philemon 1:6 (King James Version)

Dearest Abba Father, We acknowledge that we became a new creation when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and You and Jesus made our hearts Your home. We acknowledge that He who is in us is greater than the enemy who is in the world. Therefore we can face life fearlessly. We acknowledge that it is not us that live, but Jesus Christ lives in us; and the life which we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith of Your Son, Jesus who loved us and gave Himself for us. We acknowledge that You will guide us continually. We acknowledge that You will never leave us nor forsake us and You will meet all our needs according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. We acknowledge that by Jesus' stripes we are healed and we possess healing from all kinds of diseases and illnesses. We acknowledge that You always prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies and You will never let us be ashamed before our enemies. We acknowledge that when we ask anything in the name of Jesus Christ, You will hear us and grant our prayers. We acknowledge that You are our Merciful and Mighty God who delights to act on our behalf because we love You and trust in You. We acknowledge that as we start a new day now, You will preserve us from all forms of evil and You will load us today with benefits. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Bible Verse for the Day

"In every thing give thanks, for this [is] the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you."

--------1 Thessalonians 5:18 (Young's Literal Translation)

When things are going wrong in our lives,it's difficult to give thanks to God. But when you do praise God in everything,it expresses faith-faith in the God who knows what He's doing; faith in the God who sovereignly rules in all that happens to us. We must believe this matter of fact that everything works out for good to those who love God. Suppose your child walks around in tattered cloths, who does it badly reflect on? As a parent it reflects badly on you. When we have accepted Jesus Christ as Our lord and savior, we become the children of God. If we, the children of God, walk around in defeat, it reflects badly on God.Our heavenly Father is so great that He won't let that happen. So relax and watch Him turning your defeat into victory. Have faith in His authority over everything and hope for His grace and mercy toward you and love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Because at the end of the day that's all that counts.

Bible Verse for the Day

" The Lord God says: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt"

-----Jeremiah 31:3-4 (New King James Version)

Dearest Abba Father, we thank You for being a gentle, loving Father to us. You take us in Your arms and draw us to You with gentle cords and bands of love.We are humbling ourselves under Your mighty hand. We are the clay You are the potter. Crush us , knead us and mould us. Recreate a new being in us unto Your glory.Help us to deny ourselves and crucify our will so that all You will be done unto us.Help us to do those things we should do before the things we want to do.Lead us through new doors and help us to step up to new levels in everything we do.Help us to give up our old habits, practices, structures, and influence of bad relatoships.Give us fresh anointing to be more creative and productive in our work spheres.Revive our hearts and restore us to perfect health and vitality. Cause us to live in peace and security.

Satan,we command you and every devil to take your filthy hands off us.Your sicknesses, diseases, confusion, frustration shall not reign in us. We are in Christ Jesus and He has set us free!

Father God, open the eyes of our understanding that we may know Your great love and exceeding greatness of Your power that is within us.In Jesus's name , we pray. Amen!

Bible Verse for the Day

As Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

----Romans 6:4 (King James Version)

Dearest Abba Father, Apart from you we have no existence and we cannot do anything at all .You created the heavens and the earth by speaking them into existence. Speak forth a newness of spirit in us so that we may fill with Your strength to live as You intend. Let the grace of Jesus Christ, the source of all strength be abound in us. Yahweh, we thank You for giving us a new and living way through the death and resurrection of Your most beloved Son, Jesus Christ.O Lord of Life, our hearts yearn for this new and living way. How we long to dwell in Your presence day by day! Father, but with our best efforts we can't live this magnificient life on our own. We need Your constant help to be in this better way You have provided. We believe that You will finish gloriously what You have started in us. You won't let us fall by the wayside. Elohim, give us today a new clarity about our lives. Give us today a new confidence about our future. Raise us up to a new level of intimate relationship with You. In the name of Jesus, our great High Priest, Amen.

Bible Verse For The Day

Don't get so angry that you sin. Don't go to bed angry and don't give the devil a chance. Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don't yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude. Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.

-----Ephesians 4:26-27,31-32 (Contemporary English Version)

When somebody hits you, it only takes a bit of physical strength to hit him back. But it takes much greater strength not to hit them back. When someone maligns you, you only need your tounge to say bad things back. It takes greater power to hold your peace..This greater power is supplied by the Holy Spirit. Ask God to fill you with Holy Spirit so that you can be more than a conquerer in all situations.

Bible Verse For The Day

"For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace."

----- Isaiah 9:6 (Amplified Bible)

How are you doing with Jesus Christ today? Who is your daddy? Who is your counselor and confidante? What does your soul yearn for? We all seek somebody or something to worship. Either you worship God or something that's not from God. If you are not worshiping the true God, you will feel empty. God created us so we could have a personal relationship with Him. But when we leave Him out of our lives, there is a blank space in our hearts that will not go away, because only the Lord God can fill it. Not only do we need God, but God wants us to come to know Him. He wants to enter our lives and fill them, and He wants to know the joy of His Presence. That is why Jesus Christ came into this world. Jesus Christ is the faithful witness of who the Lord God really is. Make Jesus Christ your counselor. Because He is completely trustworthy and faithful. He will guide you in the way you should go so that you fulfill all of God's plans for you. Jesus Christ understands us perfectly well when no one else does. He stands by you when everyone else has forsaken you. Jesus Christ helps us to confront our past and begin a new life of joy, peace and victory. Jesus Christ leads us in the way of efficiency through calmness of mind and His guidance in peace. By faith accept God's love by inviting Jesus Christ to come into your life. Make Jesus Christ your own. Let Him be no longer a stranger to yourself. Let Him find place in your heart as your Lord and God. Many of us have gone far from Jesus Christ even after accepting Him as our personal Lord and Savior. Let's use this time to recommit our lives to Jesus Christ. Let's rekindle our passion for Him. May God take us to new levels of intimate relationship with Him in the days to come.

Examination of Conscience - 10

10. Have you tired to seek favours of men more than God? To please men have you acted disregarding God?

“Am I now seeking human approval, or God’s approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10)

Examination of Conscience - 9

9. Have you insulted or spoken disreputably about the Ministers of the Lord (Bishops, Priests, Nuns, Altar Boys or the religious? Have you worked against them or manhandled them?

“He allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account, saying, “Don not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” (Psalms 105:14,15)

“With all you soul fear the Lord, and revere his priests, With all your might love your Maker, and do not neglect his ministers. Fear the Lord and honor the Priest, and give him his portion, as you have been commanded: The first fruits, the guilt offering, the gift of the shoulders, the sacrifice of sanctification, and the first fruits of the holy things.” (Sirach 7:29,31)

Examination of Conscience - 7

7. Have you neglected your duties in maintaining the house of the Lord and its surrounding?

“Thus says the Lord of the Host: these people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the Lords house. Then the word of the Lord came by the prophet Haggai saying: Is it a time for you yourselves to live in your paneled houses, while this house lies in ruins? Now therefore thus says the Lord of Hosts: consider how you have fared, you have own much and harvested little; you Drink, but you never have enough, you eat but you never have your fill; you clothe yourselves but no one is warm, and you that earn wages to put them into a bag with holes. Thus says the Lord of hosts: consider how you fared. Go up to the hills and bring wood and built the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored, says the Lord. You have looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? Says the Lord of Hosts. Because my house lies in ruins, while all of you hurry off to your own houses. Therefore the heavens above you have withheld the dew, and the earth has withheld its produce. And I have called for a drought on the land and the hills, on the grain, the new wine, the oil, on what the soil produces, on human beings and animals, and on all their labors.” (Hagai 1:2-11)

“The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple he found the people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and the moneychangers seated at their Tables. Making a whip of cords, he drove all them out of the temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coin of the money space changes and over turned their tables. Out of here! Stop making my father’s houses a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it was written, zeal for your house will consume me.” (John 2:13-17)

Reading for the Day...!

"I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith."

-------Habakkuk 2:1-4 (King James Version)

Dearest Abba, Father,we praise you because you are eternal and just and merciful. We thank You that You always take good care of us, though at times we don't understand Your ways. You reveal Your will for us through visions and dreams. We will patiently wait to see what You will say to us.Help us to hold on to those visions and grant us strength and means to follow the dreams you have put in our hearts.We will speak of the end from the beginning and stand in full confidence that the Lord God will bring them to its fulfillment.We will sit quietly, watching for You to come and answer our prayers.Our heart is confident in You, O God! Let us live this day in the confidence that can come only from You. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
