The Fifth Station : Simon Helps Jesus Carry His Cross

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world
The soldiers enlisted the help of a man coming along to carry the heavy wood. Mercifully there was someone to help! We do not know the heart of Simon. We only know the heart of God who provided him.
Fellow lovers of God, let us put on the clothers of mercy, generosity, compasssion and service to others. The Lord is present there.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,
Give us today our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us.
Do not lead us to the test, but deliver us from all evil - Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as is was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. - Amen
Have mercy on us O Lord – Have mercy on us
May the souls of the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen
