Pr: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Pr: Brother and Sisters, let us who have assembled here as God's Children, praise the Triune God

All: Lord, Your loving kindness is manifest in creation, in Redemption and above all in your Divine Providence. You have bestowed on the Blessed Virgin Mary a singular honour in the salvific plan. For this we praise you. Oh, Jesus, You gave due recognition to her intercession at Cana. There water was changed into wine. For this we adore you. Oh, Holy spirit, you overshadowed Mary, so that she divinely conceived with no injury to her virginity. Oh, Triune God, We now prostrate before your august presence thanking you for lavishing your gifts and graces upon us.

All: Dear devotees of Poondi Mother, let us come together as one family to shower praises on our Blessed Mary, realising that all of us are her beloved children.

Pr: Oh, Miraculous Mother of universal praise of Poondi, you have taken this hamlet as your heavenly abode. With joy in our hearts we praise you. You were privileged to bear our Redeemer Jesus in your womb as the ark of the covenant of old. You have been chosen to intercede unceasingly for us before God Almighty. Oh, mother of the Redeemer, your name and fame spread far and wide daily. You are the glory of mankind. We now gladly bestow our filial veneration and praise at your feet.

Pr: Our Blessed Mother consecrated her commitment to our heavenly Father. May we now likewise consecrate ourselves to our heavenly Father.

All: Lord God, condescend, we beseech you, to behold every one of us assembled here. Setting aside here preferences, but esteeming the will of the Father as of greater moment, the Blessed Virgin Mary was inspired to say, YES, let it be done according to your word. Withe the same frame of mind we offer ourselves in your august presence. Deign to fulfill our humble aspirations.

Pr: Let us now join our Blessed Mother and sing the Magnification union with her:

All: My soul glorifies the Lord,

My spirit rejoices in God, my saviour

He looks on his servant in her lowliness

Henceforth all ages will call me blessed.

The Almighty works marvels for me.

Holy His name!

His mercy is from age to age, on those who fear Him.

He puts forth his arm in strength

And scatters the proud hearted.

He casts the mighty from the thrones

And raises the lowly.

He fills the starving with good things, sends the

rich away empty.

He protects Israel, His servant,

Remembering His mercy,

The mercy promised to our fathers,

To Abraham and His sons for ever.

Pr: Our Poondi Mother is interceding for us before the throne of God. With grateful hearts let us raise our voices to the Almighty praising our Blessed Mother

All: Ever living God the Father, in your predilection for us, you have given the Immaculate Virgin to our human family. Thus in a singular manner you have deigned to sanctify the world, For this, we praise you, adore you and thank you.

Oh Triune God, in your divine plan, you have chosen this hamlet Poondi, of all the places in the world and in Tamil Nadu in particular. Through our Blessed Mother in this holy place you are showering your gifts and graces to whosoever come here as pilgrims. Heavenly Father, we render our gratitude to your for this singular benefit. Here in Poondi you have deigned to make us feel the powerful intercessory presence of Mary as our Mother. We praise you for this admirable plan. Give us the necessary help, we beseech you, that we may live worthily imitating our Heavenly Mother's virtues. Amen.

Pr: Let us now pray fervently to our Blessed Mother whom God has willed to have her abode in Poondi for the good of humanity.

All: Heavenly Mother, you have taken Poondi as your abode by God's divine pleasure. You have been privileged to distribute heavenly gifts even in seemingly impossible cases. It is your maternal love for us that prompts you to lavish abundantly love and grace, not only here on this sacred spot but also in all the four conners of this vast universe. For this we render our gratutude.

Loving Saviour of mankind, with anguished hearts we have been vainly searching for diving comfort and consolation. Finally, We have reached this abode, realising that Poondi miraculous Mother of the Universe has been beckoning us. We prostrate before you, Oh, heavenly Mother, convinced as we are that you are always pleased to listen to your children's distress call Mek us realise your maternal concern for us and your power and protection. Rid us of all bodily afflictions, mental agony, anxiety, dejection, loneliness and what ever afflicts our soul and body once and for all. May we be your beneficiaries of all the heavenly gifts, by God's will and through your intercession. Bless us before we go, each one of our family members present here and also the absenteees.
