Word of the God
Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Saviour of the world. God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God. So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness on the day of judgement, because as he is , so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world; for all that is in the world - the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches - comes not from the Father but from the world.
And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live for ever.

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
Then he told this parable: 'A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and found none. So he said to the fardener, "See here! For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and still I find none. Cut it down! Why should it be wasting the soil?" He replied, "Sir, let it alone for one more year, until I dig round it and put manure on it. If it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down."' (Luke 13:1-9)

Dearest Abba Father, We acknowledge that we became a new creation when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and You and Jesus made our hearts Your home. We acknowledge that He who is in us is greater than the enemy who is in the world. Therefore we can face life fearlessly. We acknowledge that it is not us that live, but Jesus Christ lives in us; and the life which we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith of Your Son, Jesus who loved us and gave Himself for us. We acknowledge that You will guide us continually. We acknowledge that You will never leave us nor forsake us and You will meet all our needs according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. We acknowledge that by Jesus' stripes we are healed and we possess healing from all kinds of diseases and illnesses. We acknowledge that You always prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies and You will never let us be ashamed before our enemies. We acknowledge that when we ask anything in the name of Jesus Christ, You will hear us and grant our prayers. We acknowledge that You are our Merciful and Mighty God who delights to act on our behalf because we love You and trust in You.
